Ed Cervone was born in Germany in 1945 and moved to the USA in 1950. He was a precocious artist with an interest in Heraldry and served for several years in Boston as the Art Director of the Sanson Institute of Heraldry. He had a lifelong interest in the male form and became well-known for his highly sexual homoerotic paintings. During the 1980’s his work was exhibited in New York and Amsterdam. Several of his paintings are in the permanent collection of the Leslie-Lohman Gay Art Foundation in New York. He died in 2001.
